R3B, the largest airship in the world, made a satisfactory first flight with 48 persons on board. She was built at the Royal Airship Works at Bedford for the American navy, and will be handed over after further trials. FEDERAL SHIPPING FLEET. London, June 24. Mr. Hughes positively denies the suggestion that Mr. Larkin’s resignation forecasts the terminn ting of the Government’s standard shipping development. This will continue on approved lines. Mr. Larkin’s resignation was tendered voluntarily and much to Mr. Hughes’ surprise.
