three serious outbreaks. WAREHOUSE PARTIALLY BURNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ‘Auckland, Last Night. A fire yesterday afternoon damaged a warehouse occupied by the Gane Milking Machine Company and Caro Bros., fancy goods and china importers, in Wyndham Street. The top floor, occupied by Caro Bros., was destroyed, while on the first floor, also occupied by Caro Bros., much damage was done by water. The Gane Company’s stock on the ground floor was damaged somewhat by water. The 'damage to the building was confined to the top storey and the roof. The building was owned by the Gane Company and was insured for £7500 in the Victoria Company. An offer to purchase it at £21,000 was refused recently. The Gane Company’s stock was valued at £15,000 and insured for £3OOO in the Victoria Company. Caros Bros.’ insurances are not available. Damage estimated at £lOOO was caused by a fire in the National Electrical Engineering Co.’s building last night, a portion of the workshop being destroyed with contents. The stock was insured for £28,000 in the National Office.

A fire at noon to-day damaged an eleven-roomed house in Parnell owned by the Colonial Motor Co. and occupied by the manager. It started in the kitchen, all but three rooms being burned.
