RUAHINE REGIMENT.
CONSECRATION OF FLAGS. By Telegraph.— Press Association. Masterton, Last Night. General Sir Edward Ch ay tor attended a dinner here on Saturday to mark the disbandment of the Ruahine Regiment. To-day he was present at the consecration of regimental flags at St. Matthew’s Church, when Archdeacon Watson officiated. The Wellington flags were placed in the safe keeping of the church. Many old office of the regiment were present.
