DEATH OF MR. W. J. DIOKIE. By Telegraph—Press AtMctatlon. Ashburton, Last Night. The verdict at the inquest on William James Dickie, formerly member for Seiwyn, was that death followed a gunshot wound in the head, self-inflicted while temporarily insane or during the period of ft brainstorm. The evidence showed that deceased had recently been in poor health and fl was under medical attention.
