The loading of the liner Suffolk was delayed yesterday by the heavy rain, but the work Is being steadily proceeded with. The Rarawa, which crossed the Manakau bar at the usual hour on Thursday night, was handicapped on the run to New Plymouth by 1 a head wind and inferior coal, arriving here shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday. THE WAIOTAPU. The Walotapu, en route from Vancouver 1 and San Francisco was to leave Auckland at noon yesterday for Napier, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth to complete discharge. This will be the first occasion on which a Union Company vessel from America will discharge at New Plymouth. t LINER PESHAWUR TO-MORROW. 1 The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamer Peshawur will load only at two ports, Wellington and New Plymouth. She is to leave Wellington to-day for New Plymouth, arriving here to-morrow. From New Plymouth she returns to Wellington. RUAHLNE AT COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company have ’ been notified by cable that their liner Ruahine arrived at Colon on the 20th Inst, from ! London and Southampton, bound for Wei- ' lington. PIAKO HOMEWARD BOUND. The Piako, which left Wellington for New York. Boston, Liverpool, and Glasgow on May 27, arrived at Panama, on June 19, and left Colon the same day. 1 ULIMAROA LEAVES SYDNEY. | The Ulimaroa left Sydney on Thursday, and j is due at Wellington on Monday. j HOROBATA LEFT LAS PALMAS.
