FURTHER REMITS. By Telegraph.— Press Assn —Copyright. Wellington, June 23. The Public Service Association conference passed remits: That no prison officer be promoted to the rank of acting principal warder until he has sat for and has passed the principal warder’s examination, as provided for in the prison regulation; that the camp allowance granted to surveyors, engineers and field cadets be 4s per day. The conference is proceeding with remits affecting the internal organisation of the association. ,
