ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLES. WILLIAM FARNUM TO-NIGHT. William Farnum in an entirely new sort of role ha promised by advance news of "The Joyous Troubleniakers,” a new William Fox photodrama which is coming to the People’s, to-night. "The Joyous Troublemakers” is a very fine production from every point of view. The story is of a youth who finds gold by accident where men long have sought it in vain. The greed and jealousy of the thwarted seekers make wealth a dangerous possession; but the possessor in this case smiles through it all, until, one day, something happens that involves the girl he lovee. Then he frowns and stirring events follow fast and furious. It is a role somewhat different from those to which Farnum has been accustomed .recently, but it fits him like a glove. He is supported by a very capable cast, including the charming Louise Lovely, fitted by beauty and talent to play opposite Farnum. A big "Sunshine” comedy and gazettes are also on the bill.

EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OF "YES OR NO.” Norma Talmadge has another triumph to her credit 'in "Yes or No?” Screening finally to-night at Everybody’s. Few pictures of recent days have offered such decided contrasts as this First National production. On one side we have the social elite frittering away time and money in foolish extravagance, while on the other is the squalid poverty of a girl struggling to keep herself and her home decent while Her young husband makes the most of his chances to better himself. Both roles are played by Miss Talmadge with rare skill and charm, and she makes the most of her chances in the two widely divergent characters, the girl who said "Yes” and the girl who said "No.” The bill includes gazette, comedy, and "Dragon’s Net.” ° _ To-morrow’s change presents Robert Warmiek in his big Paramount feature, "The Fourteenth Man,” a rollicking Mack Sennett comedy, gazette, and "Bride 13.” Friday’s Royaltv Masterpiece will be "The Silver King.”
