HUNTING.
NORTH TARANAKI CLUB. There was ideal weather for the North Taranaki Hunt Slub’s meet on Saturday, and upwards of fifteen huntsmen assembled at Messrs. Parll Bros.’ property, Waihi. The hounds worked well, and three or fpur good hates were discovered, leading to sotye good runs, but unfortunately the tunt was frustreated by prohibited territory. Some good jumping was witnessed during the, day. At the conclusion the huntsmen were en-terta-ned by Mr. ant! Mrs. Parli, and Mr. B. H Chaney returned thanks on behalf of the club for the bosniu-iity received.
