annual draft of 70 choice 2-year Grade Jersey heifers, all by and in calf to pedigree Jersey bulls, August and September calvers. A beautiful line of grades, one of the best Mr. Wells has yet offered, the cattle being true to color, well grown and in great condition. Practically all are by the following pedigree bulls: “MEADOWBROOKE BELLMAN” (Brighton Twylish, imp. - Sunflower IX.); “ZEALANDIA’S ROZEL (Rozel’s Sultan, imp. —Zealandia); and MIRO’S MEADOW’S VICTOR, a son of “UNA’S NOBILITY” (imp.) On account of Mr. OLIVER CROSS: 60 choice 2-year grade Jersey heifers, early calvers, all by and in calf to pedigree bulls; 30 are out of a grade Jersey herd, which has averaged over 3201bs of fat for x the past two seasons.
