THE PRINCE’S TOUR.
JOURNALIST’S TRIBUTE TO RECEPTION. IMPRESSIONS OF NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 17, 17.55 p.m. London, June 16. Mr. Everard Cotes, who was the Reuter correspondent during the Prince of Wales’ tour of Australasia, has published a book entitled “Down Under With t'he Prince”, in which he pays a warmhearted tribute to the loyal reception accorded the Prince by all classes everywhere. Regarding New Zealand, Mr. Cotes says: “It is impossib’e to travel there and meet public men without being impressed by the high character, moderation and conservatism characterising its politics. There is no country where cooperation for public ends is more general, where political corruption is less common, or where personal rightc are more secure.” —United Service.
