HAWKE’S BAY FARMERS’ CO-OP. BOND ISSUE.
The response to a the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Co-operativl Association, announcement that 8 per cent, bonds were to be offered to the public has been phenomenally prompt. The issue was for £150,000 in Bonds, £75,000 being offered to the public. Within four days of the prospectus being issued, over £25,000 had been applied for, and appli« cations are reaching the Association in increasing volume. There can be no question that the whole of the issue will soon be taken up, and investors are advised to act promptly if they wish to participate in this extremely profitably investment. The high rate of interest —8 per cent.—makes the bonds very attractive, and the soundness of the'concern behind the issue is indicated by the fact that the Hawke’s Bay Farmere’ Coop. • Association, Ltd., has been established for thirty years. The margin of security supporting the Bonds totaki £329,987. * A strong point tin favor of these Bonds is that they are not redeemable by the Association until they have had a currency of five years at least. This means that bond-holders are assured of a return of 8 per cent, on their money lor that period, even though in the meantime money may become much cheaper—in which event these Bonds should be. saleable at a premium. Decide now whether you will’ appli for £25, £5O or £lOO Bonds—whethe? for five or ten years’ currency. 4pbly for prospectus at any branch of the Ufiion Bank of Australia, Ltd., at the Head Office, or any branch of the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Co-op.* Lt<L or any member of the Stock Exchange.
