THEFT ALLEGED.
CIVIL SERVANT CHARGED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At the Magistrate’s ' Court to-day Harold J. Salmon, an accountant in the Native Lands Department, was charged with the theft of £338, the property of the New Zealand Government. Accused was remanded until Monday, bail being allowed in two sureties of £l5O each.
