BATTLES IN BELFAST. WORKERS SNIPED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, June 14. Sniping continued at Belfast all night long and was intensified this morning when snipers fusilladed trams packed with workmen and compelled them to evacuate, them. Thrilling revolver duels ensued between gunmen sitting on skylights and the police on the ground. Isolated disturbances are reported in Belfast last night. Sinn Feiners, from the house tops, sniped workers proceeding to the docks. Two men were shot, and the trams were stopped for twenty minutes. SNIPING IN BELFAST. Received June 15, 11.20 p.m. London, June I'4. Sinn Fein snipers on roofs in Belfast fired on trams conveying loyalist workers to the dockyards and one was wounded.
