NEW ZEALAND TOUR. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, June 15. The Hockey Association has decided that the visit of the New Zealand team should stand over till the finances are In a better state, unless the New Ze&landers are prepared to finance themselves throughout the tour. Victoria concurred. Christchurch, June 15. The chairman of the Now Zealand Hockey Association (Mr. Goodman) states that it is very unlikely the Australian tour will be arranged on the terms cabled to-day. THE EGMONT CLUB. At Tuesday night's meeting of the above club it was decided to hold a dance, the date to be fixed later. A committee to manage same was elected as follows: MLsses Hammond, Anderson, Smart, Armstrong, and Mrs. Gaffaney. The following will represent the Egmont Club in their match against Eltham to-day: Misses Hammond, Lawn, Grubb, Henry (2), Smart, Anderson, Rudkin, Hale, Butcher, and Mrs. Gaffaney.
