A FATAL FIRE.
MAN BURNED TO DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A fatal fire occurred at Thornby, where an eight-roomed house owned by F. H. Steel, a butcher, of Christchurch, waa completely destroyed. The occupant, John Hampton, a single man, aged 55, and a meat cart driver, perished in the flames. He lived in the house alone.
