Politicians from the States where the Irish vote is prominent have, launched bitter attacks against the Admiral; but on the other hand it is pointed qwt that Mr. Harvey (American Ambassador to Britain) was not reprimanded for his speech, which caused almost as great commotion. The conservative Press in Washington regrets Admiral Sims erred in the choice of language, but is inclined to think there is a great deal of truth in his remarks. —Aus.-N«Z. Cable Assn.
