Orders for papers may also be left with them. LICENSING COMMITTEE. June 10. 1 The annual meeting of the Stratford Licensing Committee was held to-day. Present: Messrs. Orr Walker, S.M. (chairman), N. R. Cleland, J. W. Mcmillan, C. I). Sole, W. Hathaway and W. Morrison. Albert Rea applied for a renewal of the license of the Tariki Hotel.—The application was granted, the chairman remarking that the committee would insist on such premises being kept clean. Renewals of licenses were granted in the following cases:—Edward H. Saunders (Inglewood), D. W. P. Darragh (Stratford Club Hotel), W. F. Pellett (Whangamomona Hotel), F. W. Whittle (Stratford Hotel), E. C. Heel (Inglewood Railway Hqtel), G. R. Buchanan (Toko Hotel), W. H. Parker (Midhirst), C. P. Theobold (Commercial), W. P. Kirkwood (County Hotel). A wholesale license was granted to Mr. D. J. Malone.
