HOSPITAL MATRON MISSING.

DISAPPEARS FROM GREYTOWN. NO TRACE OF WHEREABOUTS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Carterton, June 10. The matron, Miss Mary Lindsay, of the South Wairarapa Hospital, Greytown, disappeared last evening and considerable anx'iety is felt for her safety. She is reported to have been ailing for some time past. Towards nightfall she was missed, and an immediate search was made. This continued all night unsuccessfully, and about six o’clock this morning the fire bell was rung to assemble people and form further parties. The missing lady was dressed only in her nightclothes, slippers and wrapper. The night was bitterly cold with a heavy frost. The search continues, so far without success.
