The Union Company advise that the Kawatiri (3127 tons gross) should arrive here about Thursday next from Wellington. Part of the cargo to be discharged here is S33< poles, originally loaded at Newcastle. CORINNA FROM SOUTH. The Corinna left Timaru on Thursday night en route to Wellington, via Lyttelton, Nelson and New Plymouth. She carries 68 tons of cargo for this port, and is expected to arrive here on Tuesday. OVERHAUL OF PARTTUTU. The dredge Paritutu, which is at present In Wellington undergoing overhaul, will not leave the slip for about another fortnight according to a statement made at yesterday’s meeting of the New Plymouth' Harbor Board by the chairman engineer (Mr. G. W. Baxter Lawson), in reply to a query by the chairman (Mr. N. King). He stated that inspection revealed that fairly extensive work would have to be done in the hopper ana stokehold bilges in addition to the repairs previously estimated. THE RARAWA.

The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday, carrying passengers and cargo, and left on the return trip at 8.50 last night. WAITOMO’S DISCHARGE. Ti e discharging of coal from the large collier Waitccno was continued yesterday, when exceptionally good work was accomplished. At the present rate of discharge the vessel should be ready to sail in about a week’s time. , OPUA SAILS. The coastal steamer Opua (585 tons), Captain Dewhirst, which has been discharging a cargo of cement here, left at 4 p.m. yesterday for Tarakohe, en route to Lyttelton. SUFFOLK NEXT SATURDAY. The liner Suffolk is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Timaru. From Timaru she comes on to New Plymouth, arriving about the 18th inst. THE CANADIAN PLANTER. Ti e Canadian Planter is now due at Lyttelton on July 4 from Australia. She will later go to Wellington, arriving there on July 11. From Wellington she will proceed to Auckland, and will sail from there for New York. OTARAMA LEAVES NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advice that the Otarama, which sailed from Wellington on April 23, left Newport News in continuation of her voyage on Tuesday. MANUKA DUE MONDAY. The Union Company's steamer Manuka was to have left Sydney on Thursday for Wellington, and is due there on Monday. WEST HEPBURN LEAVES NEW YORK. The U.S. and A. liner West Hepburn left New York on Wednesday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due at the first port about July 15, and stould be at Wellington a week later. PORT BOWEN FROM LIVERPOOL. Although a Press Association cablegram has announced that the steamer Port Bowen has left Liverpool for New Zealand, the C. and D. Line advise that she is not expected to leave until next Thursday. She will visit Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS I . ARRIVED. Port. Ahurirl, June 9.—-Huddersfield, i schooner (3 p.m.), from Sydney.
