ECHO OF GERMAN REVOLT.

ROSA LUXEMBOURG’S MURDERER. By Telegraph.—'Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 9, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, June 8. The alleged murderer of Rosa Luxembourg has been arrested. After the murder in January, 1919, it was impossible to trace the supposed murderer, who was believed to be Otto Runge, an officer of one of Berlin’s free corps, which indulged in a programme against the revolutionaries. 'Runge, on Wednesday, under the false name of Dnill, asked for work at a Berlin labor exchange, and some workmen recognised him, saying: “You murdered Rosa Luxembourg.” Drull replied: “No/ I only shot her.” He attempted to escape, but the crowd pursued him, ripped off his clothes, and half lynched him. He was unconscious When the police arrived, and is now in hospital seriously injured.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
