FARM AND DAIRY.

JERSEY BREEDERS’ SALE. The New Plymouth Jersey Breeders’ sale will be held on the show grounds, Waiwakaiho, on Wednesday next, and will be eonducted in a spacious marquee. The commodious covered-in pens on the ground are to be used for housing the cattle prior to their being brought into the sale ring. The day will certainly be an important one to .Jersey enthusiasts throughout the whole of Taranaki, as the sale is one of the largest to be held in this district. In all 25 breeders are represented, and the catalogue, which displays a high range of breeding right throughout, together with numerous butter-fat records, tends to show the very sound lines on which the Jerseys are being cultivated in the district.
