“TOO ROUGH FOR WOMEN.” telegraph —Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Mr. McCarthy, S.M., announced to-day that the Lyttelton Licensing Committee would in fuure grant no licenses to women as far as Lyttelton was concerned, as it was too much a rough trade and the hotels of Lyttelton required men to have charge of them.
