The Opua is expected to arrive from Tarakohe td-morrow afternoon with 400 tons of cement. PORT VICTOR TO SAIL. It was expected that the C; and I), liner Port Victor, which Las been loading at Waltara, would be ready to sail to-day. Her cargo consists of 21,000 freight carcases of frozen meat. TREGARTHEN DISCHARGING. Discharging of the Tregarthen’s cargo of basic slag was proceeded with yesterday. It is expected the work will be completed tomorrow.
WAIOTAPU’S CARGO. The Union Company’s Waiotapu, which is bringing benzine and lumber to New Plymouth, left San Francisco on May 27, and will call at Auckland, Napier and Wellington before discharging here. She is then scheduled to sail for Australia. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s steamer Manuka is to leave Sydney on Thursday for Wellington, and Ls due there next Monday. PALOONA LEFT MELBOURNE. The Union Company have been advised by cable that their inter-colonial passenger steamer Paloona left Melbourne on Thursday evening for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttetton and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington about next Friday. PAPAROA LEFT AZORES. According to a private message received on Saturday the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner PaparoA left the Azores, where she bunkered, for Newport News, on June 1. The vessel is en route from Southampton to Wellington. THE CANADIAN PLANTER. It is expected that the steamer Canadian Planter will arrive in New Zealand from St. John about the end of the month. The vessel will call at Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. On her way back to St. John she will cal! at New York. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
