It is likely that the course of a week or two will provide Napier with something sensational, -including prosecutions for burglary, indecency, and assault of various persons, and obtaining money by false pretences. It is believed that information is in hand which will lead to considerable exposure in connection with recent thefts, which have been believed to be the result of inside work or smart shop-liftiner, while the other matters mentioned have the appearance of being side-lines on a career of absolute criminality. It is expected that recent losses at at least one store will prove to have been the result of an outsider entering by the simple expedient of using a key, improperly in his possession.
