THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is expected to arrive from Onehunga early this morning, a day earlier than usual, on account of the holiday tomorrow. She will sail aga-hi for Onehunga at 8.20 p.m. KENNEDY ARRIVES. The small steamer Kennedy arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington after a long and rough passage of 42 hours. She has general cargo to discharge here, and should get away again for the south to-day providing that the weather is favorable. LAUNCH SHELTERING. The Waitara launch Heather, being unable to enter the Wattara River yesterday on account of the rough weather, put into the New Plymouth harbor at 11.30 a.m. for- shelter. The vessel will await a moderation of the weather. RAIN DELAYS WORK. No work was done at the wharf yesterday, the continuous downpour precluding all attempts to work the steamers in port. ; Consequently the' Waimate and Corinna will not be ready to sail until to-morrow, and the Tregarthen will have to stand off for another day. It is hoped to dispatch the Kennedy today, but all arrangements are contingent on an improvement in the weather. WAIOTAPU LEFT 'FRISCO. Cable advice received by the Union Company states that the Waiotapu left San Francisco at 3 a m. on Thursday last, laden with general merchandise, for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, and Australian ports. She is due at Auckland about June 19, at Wellington about June 26, and at New Plymouth later. WOODARRA FOR WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Woodarra is to leave Lyttelton on Saturday night for Wellington with part cargo from London to put out there. THE PALOONA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company advise that their Intercolonial passenger steamer Paloona is to leave Melbourne to-day for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington about the 9th Inst, and will sail from there about the same date for Melbourne direct. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
