A NARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH. Madly along the busy thoroughfare dash the runaway horses, with distended nostrils Showing ped, and foam-flecked mouths. Terrified screutms are heard above the hum of traffic, for in . the path of the galloping hoofs a tiny child stumbles I Groans arise from agonised spectators, when from out the crowd darts a man straight for ti e reins. The horses swerve, and are brought to a standstill in the nick of time. The. child Is saved, the man hobbles off, for a kicking hoof had caught him in the leg. A friend accosts him, and from out his pocket produces a bottle of BOA Liniment—rubs some well into the bruised and cut leg.
