BUTTER AND CHEESE AWARDS. By Telegraph. Pres-.- Association Dunedin, May 31. The Winter Show opened to-day. The principal awards in cheese went to Green Islands, six firsts and four seconds; Seaward Downs, two firsts and, one second; Wyndham, two firsts and two seconds; Barry’s Bay, Seaward Downs? Waikonaiti Omimi, each one first. Tn factory butter one box. half cut, suitable for export, the placing was:—Levin, 96, I; Golden Bay, 95, 2; Taieri and Peninsula, 944/2, 3; Waitaki and Canterbury, 94 each. One box, | cwt, suitable for export, open to members of the Dairy Managers’ Association:- —Levin, 96, I; Golden Boy, 95, 2; Canterbury, 94, 3.
