ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY’S. LEV ANTE A*ND KEECH. AN EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE. The large audience which visited Everybody’s Theatre last night to see the modern magicians Levante and Keech had been promised gdod entertainment and were not disappointed. Starting with “mysteries,” which ap< pealed tremendously to the juvenile portion of the audience, the entertainers showed how it is possible—if you know how—to lock a lady in a securely fastened and corded box and almost in view of the audience release her find imprison someone else without opening the box. The. thrill of this unique performance came last, when so-called spiritualistic phenomena were shown to be capable of reproduction by other than pschycic means. Samples of Astral lights, Astral hands, and even “spirit” writing, were produced in full view of the audience with extraordinary cleverness. Those who wish to see how it is done will have an opportunity of doing so tonight, when the performance will be repeated.

THE PEOPLE’S. TOM MIX AND LOUISE LOVELY. That popular screen star Tom Mix', better known to his vast army of admirers as “the daredevil of the screen.” opened at the People’s Theatre last night in his latest William Fox production, “3 Gold Coins,” a stirring story of the Wes),, written' expressly, for him by 11. 11. Van a magazine author of note. To those who love action we heartily recommend this production as the most thrilling ever seen with Mix in the stellar role. Not satisfied with portraying one character. Mix takes upon his shoulders two parts, and in each ho gives a capital performance. As Bob Fleming, the hero, who is innocently led into an oil land swindle by I wo crooks, lip is superb, while in the role of “Bad Pat” Duncan, robber-murderer, he is

equally eirpci’ve. Louise Lovely appears in "Partners of Fate” and lafgst Gazettes are also shown.
