UNKNOWN MAN KILLED, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A man, aged about 60, mediumly well dressed, who has not been identified, was run over by a motor lorry on Saturday afternoon, and died in hospital an hour and a half later. A FARMER KILLED, Auckland, May 28. John Sutherland, a farmer at. Pakuranga, went to bring in a herd of cows and was subsequently found with his horse in a ditch, both dead and with their necks broken, evidently by a fall, due to the slippery ground. Deceased was previously employed by the Railway Department. DEATH FROM BOILER EXPLOSION. Auckland, May 28. Ambrose Wilson, aged 18, when camping on a steam launch with the owner’s permission, in company with another youth, was killed by a boiler explosion while asleep. The explosion was presumably caused by some unauthorised persons firing up while the youths were at the pictures in town.
