entries close to-day All entries for the Winter Show at New Plymouth close at 5 o’clock this afternoon with the secretary (Mr. W. P. Okey). The show, which is under th® auspices of the Taranaki Metropolitan Agricultural Society, will be held in the Coronation Hall, New Plymouth, on June 8,9, 10 and 11, and there are already indications that a splendid exhibition will be provided. The Taranaki Agricultural Society*, has received record entries for its annual poultry show to be held in conjunction with the Winter Show next month. The competitors are spread over a very wide field and include many well known and successful breeders so that the exhibition will not only be a big one but the hiirh standard of quality whieh has be£n reached at previous shows is likely to be fully The entry is such that the committee m charge will be severely taxed to findall the necessary accommodation and has had to hire nearly 100 additions! pens.
