That is why such striking success has attended the 7| per cent, bond issue of the N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Limited. In commenting upon the issue, the Christchurch Sun said editorially:—“Farming in Canterbury is still a profitable occupation, and "the farmer who knows his business and attends to it has very little to fear. But if from any cause financial support were withdrawn from or refused men who used it at the present time, they would be sold up. and rhe effect would be very speedily felt throughout the entire community.
