INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) How specially suitable Inglewood is as a starting point for visitors to Mt. Egmont was only plainly proved on Sunday May 1, when the brethren of the Wanganui Royal Arch Chapter, who were paying their biennial visit to the Egmont Chapter at Inglewood, were entertained by their hosts of this bush country, to a trip to the North Egmont Hostelry. The visitors to the number of twenty-four, for they had ladies with them, were conveyed by motor from Inglewood to the Hostelry in three quarters of an hour, and there enjoyed five hours of the bracing mountain air. Unfortunately the weather ~ conditions suited more for comfort than the enjoyment of the scenery, nevertheless the guests were unanimous hr their expression of appreciation of their trip and their hope to renew acquaintance with Egmont under more favorable conditions. Inglftjvood people hope that they will keep this centre in mind as the best starting point from which the mountain can be reached.
