THE RARAWA. The Rarawa left Onehunga yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth and crossed the Manukau Heads at 4.45 p.m. She is due here early this morning, and will sail on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. WAIMATE STANDING BY. The Waimate arrived off the harbor at 8.30 o’clock yesterday morning, and was signalled to anchor outside until a berth is made available by tte departure of the Australcrag. Rain having delayed the discharging of the latter vessel, it is probable that she will not get away till late and then only if the weather Is favorable. The Waimate is to load a large quantity of frozen meat, dairy produce, and wool. TREGARTHEN EXPECTED. The Tregarthen, now en route from Port Chalmers to New Plymouth, 'is expected to put in an appearance to-night, but it is possible that the prevailing adverse winds will somewhat delay the vessel. The Tregarthen is a steamer of 4263 tons gross register. From here she goes to Brisbane. PORT VICTOR FROM MELBOURNE. Messrs. Collett and Co., Ltd., have been advised that the C. and D. liner Port Victor (7280 tons gross), was scheduled to leave Melbourne yesterday for New Plymouth direct, thus making her due here next Wednesday. The cargo to be loaded here is 31,000 freight carcases of frozen meat. The vessel also loads at Wanganui, and goes to Wellington to complete, sailing for London from tkat port. RAIN DELAYS WORK. The work of discharging the Australcrag, the only vessel at the wharf, could only be carried on intermittently yesterday morning on account of the rain, and in the afternoon all further attempts were abandoned. It was hoped to get the Australcrag away last night, but it will now only be possible for her to finish discharging to-day if the weather improves. CORINNA DUE SUNDAY. The Corinna is now expected to arrive on Sunday, the rain having delayed her in the south. The vessel visits Picton on the present trip before coming to New Plymouth. SHIPMENT CANCELLED. The Taranaki Producers’ Freezing Company has been notified that its allotment of space for 6000 crates of cheese in the Shropshire has been cancelled.

ZEALANDIC AT LONDON. The S.S. and A. liner Zealandic arrived at London on Tuesday. She sailed from Lyttelton on April 6. MOERAKI FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s steamer Moerakl was expected to leave ’Sydney yesterday for Wellington. She is due at Wellington on Monday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
