COURSING.
SEASON OPENS TO-MORROW. The first meeting of the season under the auspices of the New Plymouth Coursing Club will take place at Glenavon to-morrow, the first course starting at 1 p.m. Nominations closed last night, and the result is highly satisfactory, both courses (novices and open) being filled. Dogs are competing from Auckland and Wanganui, while all parts of Taranaki are represented. Thp hares are in splendid condition, and a good afternoon’s sport is promised/
