e MEETING AT By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. An enthusiastic meeting of the Wellington Commercial Travellers’ Association was held to-day in celebration of Empire Day. Addresses were delivered by Sir Francis Bell, Mr. T. M. Wllford, and the Hon. C. J. Parr (Minister of l§ducation). The following resolution Was carried: “This meeting expresses its sincere devotion and loyal attachment to . His Majesty’s Throne and perand its fervent hope that His Mamay be long spared to reign over A united Empire, uphold the supremacy of the British King, and those high ideals of liberty, truth and justice for which it stands, and which are the basic principles of all British Governments.”
