She sailed again last night on the return trip. TREGARTHEN FROM NEW. ORLEANS. The Union Company have been advised that the steamer Tregarthen was leaving New Orleans (U.S.A.), on April 2, for New Plymouth, via Panama and Dunedin, with 11,200 bags of basic phosphate. From New Plymouth the vessel will proceed to Brisbane. The Tregarthen, a vessel of 42G3 tons gross, and 2726 tons net, was built at South Shields in 1913 for the Hain Stearn Ship Company, St. Ives, Cornwall. Her principal dimensions are: Length .370 feet, beam 51 feet, depth of hold 26 feet. CARGO FOR THE PESHAWUR. The U.S.S. Company (agents) advise that the Peshawur is due at New Plymouth about the middle of June to load 32,000 freight car.cases of meat for England, the allocation being 10,000 freight carcases from the Smart Road Works and 22,000 from Wajtara. The Peshawur is now en route from London to New Zealand in ballast, and her full Itinerary is not yet known. The Peshawur was registered at Glasgow in 1905. She is a twin screw steel vessel of 7634 tons gross register and 4885 tons net, her principal dimensions being : Length 480 feet, breadth 57 feet, and depth of hold 32 feet. VESSELS TO SAIL. The work of discharging the two overseas steamers in port, the Maindy Lodge and the Australcrag, is proceeding satisfactorily, and it is hoped to complete both vessels on Mon-

CORINNA FROM SOUTH. The Corinna is expected to arrive at New Plymouth from Dunedin via Oamaru, Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Picton and Nelson about the end of next week. The vessel will call at Picton in addition to the usual ports to pick up a quantity of chaff foi New Plymouth. PORT VICTOR FROM SYDNEY. The Cunard vessel Port Victor, which is to load in New Zealand waters, will call first at New Plymouth. She is scheduled to leave Melbourne on May 28, and should therefore reach this port by June 2. . WEST HIXTON FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Advice has been received (says the Wellington Times) that the General Steam Ship Corporation's next steamer for New the West Hixton, is delayed at San Francisco through the strike of American seamen. ’ THE SUFFOLK. The Federal liner Suffolk arrived at Auckland on Thursday afternoon from Liverpool, via Australian ports. She is due at Wellington next week, and at New Plymouth later. FLORA REPLACES NAVUA. The Union Company announce that the Flora is to replace the Navua in the Eastern Pacific Island trade. The Navua is due at Auckland about next Thursday with a cargo of fruit. Her future movements are indefinite. The Flora is announced to leave Auckland on May 31 for Rarotonga and Papeete. TAHITI ARRIVES TO-MORROW. A wireless message received on Thursday evening by the Union Company from the R.M.S. Tahiti, en route from San Francisco, via. ports, states that the vessel will arrive in the stream at Wellington at daybreak tomorrow. THE R.M.S. NIAGARA. The Union Company have received a wireless message from the R.M.S. Niagara, en route from Vancouver, stating that the vessel will arrive at Auckland to-day She is fixed to sail from Auckland at 4 p.m. to-day
