In connection with the Cabinet decision regarding a bonus grant to persons in receipt of superannuation, it should be made clear that only widows and children receive the bonus without application; other persons receiving superannuation as retired civil servants, whether male or female, must make a written application to the Minister of Finance and prove hardship if they wish to claim the bonus.
