COURSING.
TARANAKI CLUB. The Taranaki Plumpton Coursing Club will open its season at Glenavon on Saturday the 28th inst., the meeting having been postponed from Thursday the 26th inst., on account of the change of the weekly half-holi-day coming into operation that week. The grounds are in splendid trim, and the club has a fine lot of hares. The meeting promises to be verj’ successful, some competing dogs from Auckland having arrived alreaoy.
