The German Treasury has notified the Reparations Commission that it is ready to pay immediately the first instalment of £7,500.000 under .the ultimatum terms. The German Treasury further states that it hae arranged for the payment of the remainder, £50,000,000, by May 20.—Times Service.

RESTRICTING MUNITIONS PLANTS.

A new Allied Note stipulates that by May 30 Germany must endorse the Allies’ list specifying the factories which alone are authorised to manufacture munitions. It also stipulates the dissolution of self-defence organisations by June 30. —Reuter Service.
