The money, which was drawl from the Post Office Savings Bank shortly before noon on Friday, consisted Of two £lOO notes, eight £5O notes, and five £2O notes. The womajn, who was carrying the notes wrapped in brown paper, was sitting on the lower deck on the starboard side of the vessel when making the trip to Bayewater, and must have dropped the parcel from her lap as she arose to leave the vessel. This is indicated by the fact that the paper in which the notes were wrapped waa found near the bottom of the stairs leading to the upper deck.
