SPECIAL ORDER IN RE £550 LOAN FOR THE TOI TO I ROAD NO. 3 SPECIAL RATING AREA.
JN PURSUANCE and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by Section 16 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling and with the written consent of the ratepayers of the Toi Toi Road No. 3 Special Rating Area hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers of the aforesaid Toi Toi Road No. 3 Special Rating Area, the Capital Value of whose properties as appearing on the valuation roll of the district is collectively greater than the capital value of the properties of those ratepayers who did not so consent, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows :
“That, for the purpose of reforming, grading and metalling the Toi Toi Road within the Toi Toi Road No. 3 Special Rating Area, the Inglewood County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £550, such loan to be for a period of thirty-six and a half years, at the rate of £5 12s 2d per centum per annum; to strike as security for such loan a Special Rate of four-fifths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Toi Toi Road No. 3 Special Rating Area comprising: Section J containing 517 acres, Block XV, Waitara S.D.; Sections 10 and 14 containing 364 acres, and part of Section 5 containing 20 acres, Sections 8/9 containing 626 acres, Block 111 Huiroa S.D., which is hereby constituted the Toi Toi Road No. 3 Special Rating Area, and to pay out of such loan the cost of raising, and the first year’s principal and interest on the loan.” The above special order will be confirmed at a special meeting of the Council to be held on the 7th day of June, 1921, at 2 p.m. S.
