AUSTRALIAN WOOL.
DIFFICULTIES OF FELLMONGERS.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, May 14. A deputation of fellmongers asked Sir Joseph Cook for the removal of restrictions on fellmongered wool shipped overseas, or failing this that it be taken over by Bawra at fixed prices. Unless something is done to relieve the situation the industry yvill be financially crippled and doomed. Neither the banks nor Bawra would give them advances on the large held-up stocks. Consideration was promised, and the hope expressed that the situation would be relieved through negotiations.
