RAILWAYS MANAGER.
VISIT TO NEW PLYMOUTH.
Mr. R. W. McVilly, general manager of railways, will pay his promised viait to New Plymouth at the end of this week. Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P., has been informed that .Mr. McVilly will arrive in New Plymouth on -Saturday and will stay until Mondav morning, but it is not known yet whether he will arrive by the mail train on Saturday or during the day. There are a number of important matters to be placed before, Mr. McVilly.
