CAN OLD BECOME YOUNG?

DEATH WHEN SEEKING YOUTH.

By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, May 12. Alfred Wilson, an ex-Australian of independent means, well-known in Sydney and aged 70 years, recently went to Vienna and received the thyroid gland treatment. He declared he was twenty years younger. Mr. Wilson thereupon engaged the Albert Hall to lecture op the subject. Many doctors were interested in the so-called rejuvenation. Mr. Wilson was found dead on the morning of his lecture. He had been complaining of indigestion, owing to a supper of haricot beans and tea.

Professor Steinbach, of Vienna, promised the treatment would be effective for 20 or 30 years. His friends believe Mr. Wilson died from excitement.
