ITALIAN TRADE.
UNSETTLED CONDITIONS PREVAIL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London. May 11. Signor Ramaciotti informed the Australian Press representative that he cannot recommend the appointment of a Trade Commissioner to Italy this year owing to the unsettled trade conditions. Italy has turned the corner both politically and commercially but, owing to industrial unsettlement, is making little progress. He is optimistic regarding t'he forthcoming elections. Socialism is discredited and the. Frascisti are growing rapidly more powerful.
