MLLE. LENGLEN AS DAVIS CUP PLAYER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. London, May 11. French newspapers suggest that Mademoiselle Lenglen should be a member of the Davis'Cup team. The Evening Standard, commenting, says that though not of the physical strength of Tilden, Mlle. Lenglen could play most of the Wimbledon players level, cutside the first eight. France first plays India, then Japan, but few would back Mademoiselle Lenglen against the tireless and persistent Skimitzu.
