When the barque Manurewa, from Grafton, New South Wales, was berthed at Wellington to-day, Captain Holmes reported that a member of the crew, Luke Angrove, aged 43, disappeared from the vessel while she was anchored in the stream the. previous night. Angrove was on duty keeping the anchor watch and was last seen at 9.30 on Monday morning. It is surmised he either fell or jumped overboard.
