May 7. The above entertainers will make their final appearance in Stratford on Monday night. They have just concluded a five-weeks’ successful season in each of the main centres of New Zealand. Their fit up. which is a very elaborate one, comprises the world's latest musical novelties, among which are the sonorous organ chimes, the wonderful tubular harp, Russian sleigh and Swiss handr bells, silver zylophones, etc. In addition to the musical numbers they introduce paper manipulation (a distinct novelty) and modern mock magic, which lends a delightful vein of clever and artistic humor to their performances. The English Masqueraders, who are to open their New Plymouth, season at ths Empire Theatre on Monday night, appeared at the Town Jlall, Stratford, on Saturday night and delighted a large audience. The company received a most favorable reception, all the items being warmly applauded.
