DISARMAMENT.
PRESIDENT HARDING’S VIEW. SAY'S TIME NOT OPPORTUNE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 8, 5.5 p.m. Washington, May 7. Mr. George Harvey, the new Ambassador to Britain, will broach the subject of disarmament when he takes his place at the deliberations of the Supreme Council. President Harding, however, does not intend to take active steps to further disarmament proposals while awaiting the House and Senate discussions. He does not want Congress to act while the world’s affaire are in such an uncertain state, but prefers to wait for a more opportune time.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
