FARMERS’ BEARER BONDS.
Bond Issue put out by The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd., Christchurch, is proving very successful. This quite disproves the widespread pessimistic idea that there is “no money about.” Already more than half the amount asked for has been received, and the directors expect to have the whole quarter of a million subscribed within the next few. days. An interesting point about the flota- , tion is that the. money is coming from all parts of the Dominion, and from large and small investors alike. It was anticipated that in the main the money would be subscribe' 7 :n small amounts, but sums up to £:!•■ iO have been invested, which shows that the large investor is also keen on a first-class security where the return is adequate.
